About the role | Ko te kaupapa

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Water Meter Reader to join our experienced water services team based in Rolleston. As a Water Meter Reader, you will be responsible for reading, recording, and reporting information from water meters across the entire Selwyn District.

The successful applicant will need to be willing to learn and have lots of energy as this is a physically demanding role requiring a lot of walking and bending. Recording and reporting is completed using Excel spreadsheets so excellent computer literacy skills and strong attention to detail are a must.

This is a great opportunity that enables the successful applicant to have a high level of ownership, job satisfaction, and responsibility for their day-to-day activities. Your day could take you anywhere from Lake Ellesmere to Arthurs Pass village, it is a truly spectacular area to work in and a great way to stay fit.
