About the role | Ko te kaupapa
We are looking for a skilled Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Planner to join our Traffic Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting TTM plans for CORDE’s works across Selwyn, Waimakariri, and wider Canterbury districts.
You will support our operational teams by ensuring that all traffic management plans are safe, compliant, and practical to implement on site. You will also work with councils, clients, and our internal teams to develop workable TTM solutions, conduct risk assessments, and help to transition CORDE’s operations toward the new NZGTTM standards.
As a TTM Planner, you will carry out regular site visits, conduct quality assurance reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement across our traffic management operations. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Preparing and submitting plans using MyWorksites, Submittica, and RapidPlan
- Managing the RCA approval process and tracking documentation.
- Supporting field crews with plan interpretation and TTM compliance.
- Providing input on TTM risk assessments and improvement initiatives.
- Helping CORDE lead the shift from CoPTTM to NZGTTM standards.
What you'll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- TTM Planner Warrant and/or TTM Risk & Planning Micro-credentials (or currently working towards)
- Experience preparing TTM plans and a good understanding of TTM compliance requirements.
- Background in traffic management, civil construction, or infrastructure planning is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of MyWorksites, Submittica, and RapidPlan systems.
- Understanding of NZGTTM principles or the ability to quickly upskill in this area
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with clients and RCAs.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to find practical, workable TTM solutions.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to team success.
