Job Description

About the role | Ko te kaupapa

We're after a qualified Arborist to join our Timaru crew reporting to the Foreman, working across South Canterbury and the Mackenzie District.

 

This is a straightforward, hands-on job that will see the successful candidate working in a tightknit team, leaving from the yard in the morning and traveling to varied worksites across the regions. The role will include tree pruning, planting and tree removals, all carried out safely and to a high standard. No paperwork. No supervisory headaches. Turn up, do good work, get home safe.

 

What you'll bring | Ko ngā pūkenga ōu

  • Level 3 Qualified Arborist with at least two years' experience
  • Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
  • Class 2 Driver Licence (desirable)
  • Solid understanding of arboricultural principles, including planting, pruning and removals
  • Confident with hand tools and chippers, competent at height, and sound with knots
