About the role | Ko te kaupapa
We have a busy forward work program and are looking for a Driver / Operator / Laborer to come and join one of our Road Maintenance crews based in the Hurunui.
You will be working on a wide range of projects and will have knowledge of modern construction techniques in the infrastructure industry. This includes experience working with cement stabilisation, installation of new culverts, maintenance of stormwater and drainage systems, plant and heavy machinery. You will have operated up to 20t excavators laying culvert pipes, completing drainage works, high shoulder removal, and slip removal.
Candidates who have their class 4 license and WTR endorsement will be looked at favorably. However, for the right candidate with the right attitude full training will be provided and licenses' can be worked towards.

What you'll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- Class 2, 4 or 5 Licence along with WTR endorsements
- STMS – Practicing (preferred– training can be provided)
- Experience working in road maintenance or civil construction
- Physically fit and self-motivated
