About the role | Ko te kaupapa

We are looking for an experienced Grader Operator with a keen interest in maintenance grading to join our team working on the Waimakariri District Council Road Maintenance network. You will have a good knowledge of road construction methodology and standard specifications, as well as proven experience in all facets of grader operation.

This is a critical role that enables the successful applicant to have a high level of ownership, job satisfaction, and to be responsible for their day to day activities. You will be someone who can work quickly and efficiently while delivering quality work.

What you'll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

  • Multi skilled in the operation of graders
  • Class 4 Driver Licence
  • Class 5 Driver Licence (desirable)
  • WTR endorsements
  • STMS L1 (preferred – training will be provided for the right candidate)
  • Physically fit and self-motivated
  • Health and Safety consciousness with a positive attitude
