About the role | Ko te kaupapa

We have an exciting opportunity for a Spray Operator to come and join our Parks & Reserves team based in Rolleston. In this role, you will carry out accurate and efficient spraying, vegetation control, management of noxious weeds, native planting, and the ongoing maintenance of Parks and Reserves in Selwyn.

If you enjoy working outdoors and like seeing the results of your hard work, this could be the role for you. You will be part of a great team helping to keep our parks and reserves looking their best for the community to enjoy.

What you'll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

  • Full Class 1 driver licence (essential)
  • Experience driving manual vehicles (desirable)
  • GROWSAFE Standard (desirable)
  • Qualification in Horticulture Level 3 (desirable)
  • Reliable, self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
  • Understands current health and safety practices
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
