With Summer nearly here, we are gearing up for a busy season and are seeking an experienced Drainage Foreman to help lead our team.

Job Description

About the role | Ko te kaupapa

As Drainage Foreman, you will play a key role leading a crew of three, to deliver drainage renewals and new infrastructure across Selwyn.

The successful candidate will provide leadership through the day-to-day site activities, working to the programme, coordinating plant, labour and resources. They’ll also be reasonable for all onsite documentation, managing subcontractors, suppliers and client relationships.

 

What you'll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

  • Relevant qualification in Water or Pipeline Construction
  • Experience in the field as a Foreman or Leading Hand in Civil Construction/ Drainage
  • CCC Authorised / NZ Registered (Preferable)
  • A Class 1 Driver Licence with WTR endorsements
  • Proven leadership ability, including mentorship and training
  • Clear communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work to and manage the work program
  • Physical fitness and a good work ethic
  • A safety-first mindset and a positive attitude
