About the role | Ko te kaupapa
This role is responsible for developing and implementing robust health and safety systems and processes that effectively identify, manage, and control risks across all activities within the division, including its various locations and workstreams. The position will actively contribute to the wider CORDE Group Health & Safety Community of Practice and engage with the governance structure to ensure alignment, consistency, and excellence in health and safety practices.

We’re seeking a Health & Safety business partner who can drive a proactive safety culture and deliver robust systems across diverse operations. You will bring:
- Proven leadership in health and safety strategy and cultural change.
- Strong knowledge of NZ legislation and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 9001).
- Expertise in risk management, assurance frameworks, and critical risk oversight.
- Proven experience within the infrastructure sector.
- Extensive experience in Health and Safety, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior or specialist capacity within the field.
- Ability to build capability through training, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborative approach to partnering with leaders, contractors, and governance teams..
