The work we do strengthens the communities we work and play in, with several key long term maintenance contracts throughout the Canterbury region and a number of civil projects currently being completed throughout the South Island.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager’s to join CORDE’s dedicated team, delivering vital projects across the Canterbury region. If you’re an adaptable all‑rounder who thrives on challenging opportunities and can confidently manage projects from concept through to completion, this role offers the chance to contribute your skills to a respected industry leader.

What you'll bring | Ko ngā pukenga ōu

A well‑established local network and a solid understanding of Canterbury’s infrastructure environment — with experience in any of the following including watermains, three‑waters, civil infrastructure, greenfield development, bridges, retaining structures, and related construction activities — are important for success in this role. You will also bring a background in bid management, supporting the tender process through to close‑out in a pragmatic and collaborative manner.

As a proven leader, you will have demonstrated ability to manage people, influence outcomes, and act as a trailblazer in guiding your remit of works. You thrive under pressure, think holistically to connect the dots, and bring an innovative, solutions‑focused mindset to complex operational challenges.

You will take full ownership of project outcomes from concept through to completion, ensuring safe and successful delivery by fostering a collaborative, high‑performing team environment. Your commitment to quality, cost‑effective service, and strong interpersonal and leadership skills will be key contributors to the success of our clients and our business.
